I know I'm a little late on these. I kept forgetting to scan them. I went to Trinidad in February to play Panorama and hang out during Carnival, so here are some pictures.

Here I am trying to learn the music. Everything is learned by rote, so here is the captain teaching me and another girl the part. Notice the confused look on my face.

Ever since Levar Burtan went to Trinidad for an episode of Reading Rainbow (i know im kind of a loser lol)I've always wanted to go! I love steel drums... they sound soo cool. I am glad you had a good time!

Wow, what a great trip! Sounds like you really did some interesting things and had a great time!

I love the pics of the carnival. So colorful and lively. Almost reminds me of Mardi Gras....although I've never been there either.
