Kick me now I am dreaming, what a better thing to have in my home then an abandond puppy, wouldent you all agree??

The story!!!

Ok, it all started this summer, it has been very dry and humid and hasnt rained in over 46 days not counting lil dribbles. Major fires have started all over BC, alot of ppl are without jobs and homes. They cant take their animals so they abandon them at either their homes or at the local shelter. With no money or jobs or houses, they cannot possibly have enought engery for dogs/cats/rodents/horses/ and other livestock.

Over 600 animals were abandoned due to fires around the B.C area this past month. all without homes and care, they are forsed to live at the local spca's and availible farms. With alot of ppl donating (including my family) these animals are doing a lil better, but they still dont have what is most important, a home.

So while watching the news a few days ago, we seen the most adorible puppy and his 2 sisters at the shelter they are only 3 of a possible 3 hundred dogs and puppys that need homes.

My dad freaked, he said we had to adopt this puppy, we had to get info on him asap. So I emailed the shelter he was staying @. it took a couple of dayd for a reply but they did saying that my email was on a delay due to many animals might have a chance to be claimed with in this time.

About 4 days after I got that email I got another stating that many of the animals that were abandoned might still have owners that are looking out there for them. ect..

So 2 days after that email My mom desided to phone up the shelter and ask about the puppy, the lady was really nice and seemed desprite, She said that she will contact the ppl fostering this pup and the ppl incharge of adoptions and will arange for them to call us back with info about the dog and when we can come down to meet him.. He of corse will have to be neutered and vaccinated befor we bring him home, But I cant wait!!!!!!

While I think it's great you want to rescue a dog, kay brings up a good point. Recently you didn't have enough money to take your rat to the vet. A big dog requires big vet bills, are you sure you guys can handle it? Remember that a pet is more than just food and water, vet bills are part of owning an animal and unexpetced emergencies.

I had a major feeling somone would bring up money issues, (which is really none of your buinsness, IMHO)And we do have money, I dont feel it nessisary to explain where and when and why ect... Thanks for all the congrats lol I will for sure post pics

well we can finacally provide for it, "encluding vet care". It just bothers me a lil that everyone has to question everything I post.

Well since everything you post is confusing and questionable, we question you IMHO. You can't pay for a $100 (?) or whatever it was, vet bill for a rat yet you can afford a dog. It just doesn't click or make sense to me.

it doesnt have to make sence to you, because YOU dont know the whole story, and it is none of Your buisness. I just resently COULD afford to pay for Pippins vet bill, isnt that enough?? guess not
