I know that look all to well, although in our house the next picture would be Tubby with a stunned look on his face, and Peanut nowhere to be found. If it were a video, you'd see this look, then the ol' Peanut paw coming out, wacking Tubby up 'longside the head, the Peanut bolting away to "safety."

I'm so glad Mishi is being so persistent, and Mitzi is slowly giving in. Hopefully they'll be cuddle bugs before long.

I think you will find that Mishi is the dominant cat. The pic where he is looking down at her with ears at airplane position is a classic dominant pose. Then in the next it looks as if he is biting her on the back....but he is definately forcing Mitzi into a submissive position. This is not bad at all if Mitzi is agreeing to it which by the last pic it certainly looks like that is the case. Your household will be much happier and calmer when they determine and agree upon their respective positions.

Yes it will take/has taken time and he is the more dominant - both in personality and size. Actually, he's not biting her -- he's very gently licking her. He is a very gentle giant. Mishi always looks down at the little Ms. Mitzi. It's hard to tell from the pics, but he's about twice her size! He measures out fully stretched to about 3 feet; Mitzi, is only about 22". What she lacks in "height" she more than makes up for in breadth and fluff and then she whacks him upside the head with her little white mitts. Ah kids!

Would it help if I redecorated so my house matches my cats???? I am absolutely amazed. They blend so well! Although gray and white might not be as good a color scheme!

It has taken almost three months to get them this close. The gal at the rescue shelter warned me, but I didn't believe her at first. Now I know .... God, grant me patience and give it to me NOW!

Mitzi looks like she's have such fun with her...bunny balls did you call them? I've never seen those. They look really cute and like the cats would really love flipping them around.

I agree with what Denyce said about the dominance. Here the one who licks is the dominant one. Tigris comes to lick Filou and Filou tries to get up and lick Tigris -next thing is a wrestling game

The odd thing about Cats is the way that they seem to be battling and fighting , yet arev actually playing! Juke Joint Joseph , Michael and BoBo are masters at this! Mitzi is One Gorgeous Cat!

Thank you! The "bunny balls" are little balls of rabbit fur -- got them at Safeway! They love to toss them around and even bathe them I love my beautiful little Mitzi. Mishi is entranced with her voluptuous beauty. He can usually be found gazing at her adoringly from across a room or the other side of the bed. When she hides under the bed, he will sit and wait patiently next to the bed skirt where he knows she's hiding until she emerges so he can give her a kiss. He's smitten!
