Rat licking pee??!

You know how rats like to mark their territory...Well, today, Frisco peed on my leg. After I wiped it off, he started licking the area! It was utterly gross. He's supposed to be a clean and hygenic species.

Anyone know why he would do this?

I have no idea lol. But my guess would be that he likes your sent and wanted it back. My rats lick me all the time when I place my hands in their cage, I think it is cute .
