    What a special surprise this morning to meet Shantou!! She's one of two NC honorees today!

    Shantou doesn't sound like she has let her little ailments get her down at all! Here's to many more years of life for your miracle pup! Congratulations on being the Dog of the Day, Shantou!!

    Shantou, the girl who won't let the vicissitudes of aging get her down. What a dear example you have set for the rest of us. We are so pleased to have you represent Dogdom today as our most revered honoree here at Dog of the Day. Please know Shantou that only the best and the brightest and the most beautiful and wonderful are selected to receive this most coveted position. So stand tall and strut your stuff. And you might want to mention to your guardian that for the hard of hearing a clap of the hands sometimes is noticed better than the human voice.
