    The Sleek New Tubby

I bought one of those brushes that Ms Edwina has - shedding comb(?) - for T & P. Well, I can't believe it took me 17 years to find this wonderful, wonderful "brush"!! I cannot believe the amount of hair I got out of Tubby, and it's still coming! If you look at the pic of when Edwina was brushed, I probably had about twice that much from Tubby - and he's a short hair cat! And I keep taking him outside in the evenings and brushing him more, and I still keep getting piles and piles of hair! I was worried he was going to be bald, but that doesn't appear to be happening. And the best part is, this thing doesn't "bring up" the dandruff like a normal brush does. After brushing him with a normal brush, he practically looks white from all the dandruff. This "thing" not only doesn't bring up the dandruff, it seems to grab the stuff that's already there and it comes off with the hair.

I honestly have never seen Tubby look this good, and he's even softer now when I pet him. Even Terry noticed how soft he was and commented on it. So to celebrate Tubby's new look, I took a bunch of pics. He is in the same spot in all of them, but he was enjoying the breezes and had quite the sniff fest.

    And now...announcing....the new & improved...Sleek New Tubby!

And here he is checking out the breezes.

This one is for his Samantha sweetie.

And then a bug distracted him from his romantic thoughts.

You look so sleek all brushed. My Mommy tries to brush me but I don't like it very much. Maybe you can teach me how to tolerate it??? Oh Tubby, I've been looking at your pictures for such a long time and I just have to say that "I love you". You are in my thoughts daily and I want to give you my heart if you will take. Please may I be your cybergirlfriend???

    Tubby and Peanuts Mom,
I have found that my Mystic (short haired black cat) also sheds like crazy. I have 3 grooming tools for her and I swear she looses at least a pound every time I groom her. My neighbors have Mystic balls floating around in their yards. Oh well, at least the birds have wonderful nesting material.

Mystic wants to say hello to Tubby.

Tubby, what a handsome, good looking hunk you are. I know that Samantha is your sweetie but do you think I could be one of your sweeties too. I am enclosing a few pictures of myself. Hugs and kisses to you. Love Mystic (AKA Flubby)

    shedding comb?

    CLOSE!! shedding blade

So glad it worked for you! I might have to pick up one for my critters. I've got a bunny that's sheddin' like there's no tomorrow!! I put him on his harness and took him out back for his nightly "butt scratch in the grass" ( he LOVES his butt/hips/back scratched) and had CHUNKS of fur flyin' everywhere!

Now, can you imagine how much we got out of the horses at sheddin' season?!

Was Tubby not the one to date Samantha? Oh I'm getting old and our kitties' lovelife gets too complicated for me.

Tubby now with your shiny brushed black fur you may look for some more girlfriends

Tubby looks great...Mmm I wonder if this miracle comb would work on my Georgie.

I am going to ask Steve (PaysForIt) to find a shedding comb for our Georgie.

I recently got a wire brush and shedding comb with the alternating short and regular length teeth for Lovable. They make grooming easier, but I can only get him to stay still for so long. Tubby (no longer) you are very handsome in your new pictures.
Thank you Catlover4ever for the pics of pretty Mystic, too.

Oh Tubby! You look so sleek and handsome and maybe even a little less tubby since your mom got you a new brush!
Samantha is a bit worried though that you are attracting too much female attention with your new look.
I am sure that Speckles and Mystic are very nice girls but she would rather not share you with other girl kitties.
(except for Peanut because she is like your kid sister)

Here is a photo of Samantha with a little message for you Tubby.

She also says she loves this photo of you with the flower.
    RIP sweet Samantha
