Bonnie (My beloved foster cat) has a new home

Both sad and happy news. I talked with a couple who are very interested in Bonnie. All that is left is formality (the home visit and filling out the paper work) but I am certain that Bonnie has found her home. I love this girl and will miss her terribly but am still so happy that she will be getting a place of her own. She will have one cat sister and no children in the house. This is perfect for her. (She loves cats but is still too likely to nip a child.) I will meet with the couple this Tuesday and be saying goobye to my first adult foster. Please wish her well in her new home.

    Good news!

These are good news, though a little sad for you!!! (Hug)
I am happy that you've found appropriate people and I do hope their home check will prove what your impression about them already indicates!
Sure Bonnie will be happy and I hope the new people will stay in close contact to you!
    Paws and fingers crossed!!!

That's wonderful news for Bonnie! What a wonderful caring job you're doing for all these foster babies! Seems you know your limit and haven't overwhelmed yourself! Good work Jen.
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

I am so glad Bonnie has got herself a furever home at last.
I can understand how it must still be sad for you though Jen. You took her into your home and heart, took such good care of her, and now must let her go.

Good luck sweet Bonnie, may you be forever happy and content in your new home.

    Hugs

    Visitation rights in the contract!

Jen, you should make it standard to have a line in the agreement that you get to visit and play with Ms. Bonnie, whenever you want!

Chin up. You did the correct thing. Bonnie will be happy and THAT MAKES ROOM FOR ANOTHER FOSTER!

Oh Bonnie, what happy news! A new home to start your new life, happy and fed and not at all the skinny-but-pregnant, shy thing we first knew! Congratulations to all involved!

I hope that all works out and that Bonnie will be in her new home ASAP. Jen, you have done a wonderful job taking care of her. I know it is hard to let go, but I know you are happy for Bonnie.

Those were my thoughts exactly, Karen.

When you first got her, her future was bleak. A homeless kitty, pregnant and alone. But you took her in, raised her babies and found good homes for them, and now you've done the same for her. She has really blossomed under your care, Jen, and now she can be happy in her ner furrever home.

Congratulations to Bonnie, and to you too, Jen, for another "successful" foster. (and I put the quotes around successful to mean that it was successful not only because she found a good home, because you didn't keep her. )

Oh Jen, I am so glad to hear you found a forever home for Bonnie. It's not as easy placing an adult cat as it is a kitten.
Congratulations Jen on a job well done.
I remember when we first got our Katie girl from a foster home. She smelt so much of the woman's perfume that I figured she must of hugged her so much and smothered her with kisses.
I'm sure you will be doing the same thing with Bonnie.
Give her a big goodbye kiss and hug from all of us here at Pet Talk.
It was a pleasure meeting you Bonnie and all your precious babies.
May you all have a happy and long life.

How true! Now that little Bonnie has blossomed under your loving care she is ready to give and receive love with a new family. Endings don't get much better than this. They say that skin parents should provide their kids with roots and then wings. You have done this for Bonnie. With you she finally had "roots," a place to call home, and now she has "wings" to fly off to the next phase of her life. (Good thing this is only figuratively speaking, though, because I imagine all of the birdies in the area wouldn't be too happy to see a kitty with wings! )

How wonderful that Bonnie will have a new home! Good job, Jen!
It helps when you are fostering from an established rescue / shelter .... so they can help finding homes!!!

I am so pleased Bonnie has her very own furrever home.

I really thought she would stay with you Jen but this way is better, as you have more foster spaces.
