i went to my mom's house and while i was sitting there i asked her for her newspaper so i could check the Montreal scores.......

she asked me why the interest in baseball, especially Montreal...i explained and she promised to kick in a contribution for the second round of donations......

And the Expos returned the favor tonight. I'm a traditionalist--I keep forgetting this interleague stuff.

But the Blue Jays ain't doin' too bad--eight wins so far!!

today is the final game in the "baseball for Bassett" fund raiser.

The Blue Jays rallied for a dozen wins from June 10th to the 30th--which exchange-rated to around $32 Canadian on behalf of Bluekat.
