I expect, like me, a lot, if not most, of you fellow Pet Talkers get those annoying `spam` e-mails? I found these articles on the subject interesting, maybe you will too.

Wow!! That spam stuff is totally out of control. I think maybe it's time the government got a little more involved.

I get so much spam! I hate it! Now I am about 13 on AOL under Kid's Only thanks to the wonderful 'adult type' spam. My parents think I go on those kind of websites (which I most certainly don't!!!) and now don't trust me.
Something really has to be done about it.

Unfortunately, I suspect that while phone solicitation will get much better with the new do not call registry, email spam will probably get much much worse.

Tell your parents to pick up the August 2003 issue of Consumer Reports magazine. Whole article on spam, and even with the kids
blockers AOL has etc. rated XXX spam still gets through.
