    Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

    With the temperatures being what they are this time of year in the Phoenix, Ariz. area, I can see where this type of clip would help keep Parker in comfort for the season. I have seriously considered giving Mopsy a similiar cut also.

    We did the same last year for our long haired fuzz ball, Kunan. I think he definitely felt better during the really hot stuff 'cause he looked happier and moved around a bit more than he had in the past summers. I have to call and get him an appointment soon as it has been 90 degrees here in Pittsburgh for the last two days....

    How cute!
    I am curious - how does one go about shaving a kitty? do you need a special "shearing" tool? do they hate it as much as bathing?

    We take ours to the groomers at our vet. It's a little pricey but worth it. It helps them feel better, no matting, and helps cut down on the amount of shedding indoors.
