She is being re-tested for FeLV because of reoccurring mouth sores. I am scared because I personally know someone who had a cat DIE of Leukemia, and he had tested negative originally. What do I do if she is POSITIVE????????![]()

Sending positive vibes to Amber...!!
Prayers and positive thoughts are on the way for Amber.
Oh no! I sure hope Amber is OK. That will be a hard decision and I guess all would depend on what the vet says. She's already been exposed to your other cats, so if she is still healthy, not in pain, eating, etc. then I would leave things as they are. Just my opinion!
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers
Oh Jen how awful! Prayers on the way that everything turns out OK. Try not to worry until the results come in. In the meantime, sending hugs your way and kisses to all your furbabies!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!
