    Trap Depot

My husband & I have become a trap depot. We store several humane traps and then when someone needs a trap for a feral, they pay $25, this rents the trap, all the supplies that go with it, and includes the vet appointment with the spay and neuter. The check goes to the vet for their time and service!
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

What we found is most people do not have access to traps. They're willing to TNR, but can't without the equipment. This way they get everything for a very LOW cost!

We've had a few cats that would go in the trap over and over, but VERY few. Seems once most of the cats have been trapped they never go near it again. We've also had a few hard to catch cats so my husband built a drop trap for these. Some cats just take time and patience, while others take a total of 5 minutes!
