Last Thursday (6/5) I was leaving for work. As I was pulling out of my driveway, I noticed this little brown thing running in my front yard towards my car. Upon closer examination, I saw that it was a pug.Since I live in a very rural area and know everybody and every animal in town, I knew it wasn't local. I got out of the car and he came running up to me. He was scared but friendly. I started walking towards my house to tell my mom (she baby-sits at my house). He followed me. He went into my garage. I went in the house and told mom everything and when I opened the door again to go out, he came in the house. So I got him a blanket, some water and some food (large breed weight management
). So my mom called my brother (Andy) who came up and got the Pug. Andy gave him a bath and bought him a collar. We put a sign up at the general store but had not heard anything. He had to spend the night at moms. He was such a love. He has cataracts and ear problems. He was not neutered though. We nicknamed him humper.

Friday morning I e-mailed our local humane society to see if there was any reports of a missing senior pug. They said that there was a 5 yr. male missing from Blandburg (10 min. drive away) since May 25th. I called the lady and it was her dog.She came down and took Scooby home. Scooby and his two legged sisters and his mommy were so happy to see each other. It was so nice to see such a happy ending.
