    The weekend foster

Kira who was supposed to be here for the weekend left tonight for her forever home--four months after that first weekend. The ungrateful little brat didn't even look back at me--just hopped in her daddy's Jeep! She won't be far away and I know her owner so I can visit.

See ya goofy girl! I'll miss you, but I have no doubts that you will have a wonderful life with your new human.

I bet that no matter how much time passes that she will always recognize you!! So even though she didn't look back she will never forget!!

Such a good thing you have done by keeping her until her forever home came along. Hats off to you!!

Isn't it the truth???? Sometimes "children" can appear SO ungrateful!! Kira is so lucky to have had you and your family there for her these past 4 months! The fact that she left so willingly and happily with her new "Dad" speaks volumes about the great job you did, turning her into a happy, confident, socialized young lady! Congrats on "going home" dear Kira!!
