Thanks I might do that. He's orange because he wants a female, so not orange all the time. Thats on of the reasons I took his pic then, liked the orange look.

Vern is about 5 or 6 years old, Not really sure we got him after his past owner couldn't take care of him any more. He just got bigger then they thought. Thats the problem with a lot of people they get a pet without know whats ahead for them in the furture.

Verns is just short of 6 feet long, head to tail, we need heavy duty gloves to hold him, if he gets mad, he can hurt you. Most of the time he's wonderfull. But even the best of pets can turn on you.

We had to build him a huge cage that runs along the back of our home, but he can come up to the kitchen window and knock when he wants food. There's been times he's knocked the screen down and just made himself at home. It's so nice to come home and find him wandering around.

She not even a year old yet. She a sweet heart, loves to eat out of my hand, but hates the dogs. We have to keep her in the back part of the house, she plays all night long, so if we don't there be no sleep at our house. We built her a BIG swing, so when she gets going on that it's nuts. You think the cage was falling!!

aww chi chi is so adorible. I love chins, i was going to get one befor I gt angel *rip*. but they were wayyy to expensive. Chi chi is so cute. what a nice shade of black. . you have alot of pets do you live on a farm?

How is Vern interacing with your others pets, dogs, cats...is he agressive? Do you snuggle with him? Oh , I have a million questions

tikeyas_mom......Chi Chi is a black Velvet chinchilla and yes their not cheap. My husband calls her the "$100 Rat"
I do sort of live on a farm, I have 5 acres and take in abused and unwanted pets.



koxka......He's gotten use to most of the pets over the years. Just as long as they don't get right on top of him he fine. Honestly the other pets keep their distance. It did take him awhile though to get use to everyone. For the most part he's nice, just not when he wants to mate or if he gets to much protein. Protein make them agressive. As for snuggling with him, he's a little to big for that, but he sits on the couch and we pet his head.
