    Paintings/Drawings I did a long time ago

No scanner so I took pictures instead. It is a moot point whether thats a plus or a minus!
These first two are oil crayons/pastel/ pencil done around 8 years ago.
The owl I posted on slleipir`s thread and an ape one.

The rest of them are older still around 20 plus years ago.
Clint Eastwood, oils. Freddie Mercury, pen&ink

    More to come.......

Those are really well done. I especially like the Adam Ant one. I can't get over the eighties...

Thanks so much everyone, you made me feel good! I can go to bed (its 11.15pm here) with a smile

Soledad, I used to really like Adam Ant (hence the pictures) went to see him a few times. I like the 80s musically too, Duran Duran, Ultravox, lots of that stuff, the new romantics they called it! And later on there was Prince I loved his stuff too, he was dynamite live, and U2 and......on and on it goes. But there again I like music from most eras and lots of types too. I will stop there I think before I start rambling too much!

    Wow x 1000

Oh my ChrisH, you are terrific at this. I bet you could sell these on Ebay! Although I don't frequent the place, I suspect you could sell them. The drawings are great! Really!

Make a living at this - really!

    Thank you all so much

slleipnir, no, I haven`t done any for a very long time.

I began drawing and painting at a, how can I describe it, lets just say a painful time in my life - my husband died, had to sell my home, money ran out - and it helped me so much. None of it comes easy or swiftly to me, it took/takes work and concentration, many a time I sat up well into the early hours to finish a piece. Anyway, I got work and somehow the painting and stuff tapered off. Later when I "retired" I did start again, at least did a few, but then I was called upon to take care of my youngest grandaughter during the day for 5 or so years, and that took up a lot of my time and concentration. No excuse for the last couple of years, though it is true that my eyesight has worsened and new eyeglasses are extremely expensive!

But you guys have re-awakened my interest and given me new heart, so we`ll see.

    Thanks again

    love Chris
