Without being asked....

A llooonnnggg time ago, I decided to teach Molli, the dog as my avatar, "sit, give me your paw, give me your other one, lay down and roll over." I did it in just that order. Now, when I ask her to give me her paw, then her other one, she just goes ahead and does the rest without being asked.

Do any of your dogs do this?

Kai use to do this. It was probably cuz I got him to sit then down right after. When we went to obedience classes, the instructor would tell him to sit and he would..but then 2 seconds later he'd be down. The instructor called him a "lazy dog" lol.

Max use to do that until I mixed up the commands.

Sadie does that. As soon as I say sit she rushes thru her routine of sit, paw, lay down, and stand. She looks all impatient while she does it as though she's saying just give me the treat!

That's so cool! Chloe is too old to teach her any new tricks though, because when we got her she was already five years old!

u can teach a 5 yr old tricks. I taught a 6 yr old how to give a paw & to stay..

Mickey used to do that. I mixed up the commands and he was okay after that. But he usually knows a roll over follows the lie down
