A funny Miley story (for a change)

Yesterday morning I found a bag of cat treats in my bed, next to my hand. I thought maybe I had gone to sleep with them somewhere in the covers.

Later in the day I noticed that Miley was sitting next to me on the bed (I was napping) and she had that same bag of treats in her mouth, just like a silly doggie!

Last night I experimented and put the treats (with a clothes pin on the top, by the way) on the dresser twice, and twice she brought them over to me. Each time I gave her a treat....so I was rewarding the behavior.

I remember as a kitten Miley would bring the 1/2 full can of cat food into the living room to be fed...... it was one without a lid and had plastic wrap on the top... She did that several times, then I stopped feeding them canned food.

The treats I am writing about are cranberry extract ones and I got them for Ti, as male cats have a better chance of getting an infection....UTI..

    Miley girl......awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww...

That is such a cute story. Good for you Miley. Tell them that you want those treats.

Would you mind telling me the name, maker and where those treats came from (again). I still think I'd like to get some. Thanks!

How smart ! She really deserves those treats. Now if only she could drag Ti out of her house she would be a happy girl. Bodhi brought a bag of cashews to our bed one night. I've never had a male cat that fetches and delivers before! Did Grammy or Gabe ever make special deliveries? Give Miley a big hug from me.

Juni likes to take her food out of her plate. My brother tries (yep, tries) to teach her to not do this. One morning, the day before yesterday, I think, she did the same again. My brother told her to eat in her plate One second later when he went in the bathroom, she brough the big piece of chicken in bed, next to my sister. Imagine this on the bed sheets

I think, Miley wanted to reward you for keeping Ti out of her sight

Miley is a funny one alright!

I will check the name on the cranberry treat when I get home, Jen.

Yes, all of my cats have been dog like in that they retrieve. Ti will do it with toys and especially sticks or twigs. He walks around with one in his mouth quite often.

Miley, Grammy and Gabe were famous for bringing things into the bed. I would find beer bottle tops everywhere....ahemmmm...in my shoes....water dish....bed....the bathtub...under things.... and toys the same way.... Miley hasn't done the food thing in some time. Guess she is trying to tell me that she likes the treats. Ti also likes them. I don't want them to OD on them!

The ad in the paper this weekend produced one phone call from a current Bengal owner offering some suggestions and her sympathy.

Right now Ti is being good and Miley is getting tired of being trapped in three rooms. This morning she was sitting looking at the bedroom door....with less anxiety than usual....so I immediately began thinking......well, maybe just having a break in the war, might heal old wounds and egos. We shall see.

The ad is still in the paper..... and I have not ruled out the Boston goup of girls via dear Karen.

I really want the people getting Ti to see and hear him first. He is quite the big and loud guy.

I will give Ms. Miley hugs and kisses from everyone....she is really a sweet one....possessive, but sweet...

Off to the Vet tonight for the last booster shots.

    Bastet fetches EVERYTHING!

She always brings it to me when I am in bed or sitting that the computer. I have a great collection of mousies, balls, paper, bottle caps and other various things under my computer desk and well my bed gets made everyday but there is always a strange assortment of stuff.

She also likes to fetch food into the clothes closet! I found a half eaten chicken wing buried in an overcoat one day!
