Hugs

I'm still so ecstatic over geting Max. He's the best dog anybody could ever want! Every morning he comes up to me and gives me a loooooong "Max Hug". He just sticks his head under me if I'm sitting, or between my knees (not in the crotch) and stands there forever, wagging his tail. It's like he's saying "I just love you so much and I'm so happy to have you!"

He follows me wherever I go, and lays outside the door of the bathroom waiting for me.

Yesterday I was stripping wallpaper and Jake, Max, Toby (my cat) and Kyler (my son) all had to be right there in the room with me the entire time I was doing it. I just felt so loved!

What do your dogs do that makes you feel loved and happy?

When my mom and I are calling Molli at the same time, Molli almost always comes to me!

Millie hugs me, too! Chester also crawls into my lap and presses against me if I’m sitting down. And they both give great kisses.

Wherever I go, they go. Five dogs follow me to the bathroom, outside in their fenced area, to the laundry room, to the bedroom and sleep on the bed next to me when I am reading. In the morning everyone has to be petted and Jack has to have his ears scratched. Snoopy is completely lost without me and is always jumping up and giving too many kisses. All of them are complete lovers. (although Oreo has way less than the others.) Oh, and no one will go out first thing in the morning unless Mom lets them out. If Dad tries,they all have to see if they can find me first. Silly, silly pups!

Last night I was sitting in the middle of the couch, Sadie on one side, Spot on the other, and Cincy on my lap...it doesn't get any better then that!!

All of our dogs are lovers, but Sadie is the most outwardly affectionate. She loves to gives kisses and hugs, whether on command, or just because. Cincy and Spot both give kisses, but not quite the way Sadie does

Cisco is constanly wanting to be with me. Either in my lap, in his play pen outside with me, for a car ride, a visit to grandma's ectc...I think that this shows his love and devotion for me. The thing that I think is really sweet is the thanks I get after he gets a meal. Once he is done eating he will come to me and give me kisses all over!! This will last for several minuets after every meal. I gave up trying to stop him. It is as if he just has to thank me for his meal.

Abbey is our lover girl--kisses all the time!!!!!
And they ALL follow me all the time!! The best is when they do something bad and their daddy is about to yell at them--they come running to me--I guess I'm the softie!!!!
And I just LOVE how excited they are when I come home--it's so great to see them waiting by the door and tails wagging as soon as I come in--and more kisses then too--even from Kito!!!!

Ruby is the love monster ..... she loves to be hugged, and covered with her blanket ...... kissed ..... real little GIRL

BUT Captain - such a BOY . However, if he goes outside and comes back in, he HAS TO FIND ME before anything else. He runs into every single room to make sure I am there - sometimes running right past me standing in the kitchen ....... then he is OK

He "smiles" when he finally finds me. Sweetheart!!!

I know it sounds crazy to be so nuts over our dogs - but they just bring us so much happiness! When I get home from work, my kids sometimes don't even say "Hi, Mom" but the dogs are a completely different story! They make me feel so loved and fulfilled.

My husband has never been much of a dog person, but even he can't stop talking about Max! When he calls he always asks how Max is doing.

We've been trying to have another baby but the other day Bob said "You know - now that we have Max I don't even feel like we need another baby! He's just as much fun as a baby, and not even half the work." I agree!

And the dogs are never embarassed to be seen with us, unlike teenagers!

Dusty is kind of an odd dog, but I still like how he loves. He doesn't like to be pet, I can't even tell you where his favorite spot is like most dogs...he doesn't like hugs, nothing like that. He has never once kissed me, he's only licked my son twice and thats it. But he always has to sit on you. He'll sit on your lap, on your feet, if you tell him to get off, he'll keep his butt on your lap and put his front paws on the ground. It's so funny! He always makes me feel so special when I come home cause he gets estatic. He'll bark and bark and do backflips. He gets so happy when he sees me like he hasnt seen me in years. Teddy cuddles with me and makes little whimper sounds, it's sweet. Roxy puts her paws on my chest and hugs me.
