i have an American Eskimo. and i live in florida!!!!!! yea she gets really hot at times. i feel so badbut i dont know if that is bad can yall tell me if it is ok for her to be in the heast???

I'm sure it's okay. We have poretty humid summers and Mick who is a Sheltie (double-coats) will survive. Just don't keep her in the sun for too long and give her lots of water. (btw ~ I hope your not asking this because of the breds name? From what I remember, Am. Eskimos have thick fur as well)

It is a good idea to brush an Eskie about once every two weeks in hot summer weather, to get rid of some dead hair, etc to help cool them off. You could use a mister/water bottle and lightly mist its fur. This is what my neighbor does with her Eskie (Nikita) and it works great!
