    New Foster

    I got my FIRST FOSTER DOG!!
    He came with the name Sniffer, its gonna change though. He's a Newfie/Basset, too. He is a few years old. I'll have a picture tommarow. Here's the cool thing its my little Annie's nefew.

    Niffy Pics

    Here he is the first one is from this winter and the other one is from last summer(we got him from our nieghbors, and he alway came to our house thats how I got these pics.) Ill get newer ones in awhile.

    awww he is soooo cute! I hope all goes well! how long will you foster him?


    newfies and bassets are both some of my favorite dogs, but i have never seen a mix like that!

    Im fostering him for a few months until I can find him a home. I love him dearly and have wanted to get him away form my neighbors for a long time. He is one of the first dogs in my rescue. (I run a dog rescue called IceyFourPaws)

    Heres my foster plan-
    I plan to get him fixed and then train him the basics like sit, stay, walk on leash, down. Im gonna take him places such as parks and stuff to get him socailized better.

    Anybody have any idea on how to raise money to get him shots and what not??

    put an ad in the local newspaper & make sure u put a pic with it aswell.. I'm sure u'll get some good money for it & if u have left overs, save it for the next dog & if people don't trust u, tell them to donate it to the vet he'll be going to for the dogs shots & stuff.. see if ur vet will open a special account for u & keep all the extra donations for future dogs in need.

    If the vet says no, then see if the shelter will do it
