    INTRODUCING...(drum roll)....

My 8th rattie, a female, named Miss Suzie-Q "Suzie". I bought her today at the Animal House pet store for $4.99 She loves her new house, it is huge compared to her little 10 gallon tank, which at one point was housing 5 other ratties. She was the only rattie left. I have been eyeing her up for a couple of weeks, finally I got to bring her home to The Rattie Estate.

She will not stop running around, too much too explore, but I did get one good picture of her. I will keep on trying to get more, IF she stops moving!

Even this one is kind blury. Stinker!

Here are some pictures my mom took. She also took some video footage of Suzie checking out her new house.

CONGRATS on your new baby!!! How in the world did you convince your mom to let you have her?? What a softie she is!

CUTE pics! Does she have her own cage or is she going to meet the other ratties?

Thanks, I bought her with my own money, and my mom really didn't say anything- just rolled her eyes a lot and swore never to come back to the pet store again. She loves Suzie...of course!

She has her own cage, a Super Pet cage. I am going to wait a couple of weeks to introduce her to the other ratties.

I'm not "rat-crazy" but Suzie is cute. Congratulations and get more pics soon!

Suzie is a Q-tee, but don't you need to rent her an appartment or something for her first month?

Why thank you. Actually we have her in an underground bunker. I go in there with a chemical lab sute on, mask, gloves, the whole 9 yards. Yup, yup, yup!

I am going to wait a couple of weeks to introduce her to the other ratties.
With any new animal entering the house this quarantine period is so so important by doing this YLL is ensuring the health of her original rats.

If the new animal is not quarantined and comes down with something infectious you could loose the whole lot.

YLL, this little girl could not have fallen into better hands... I hope that you enjoy each other for many years
    Happy to help

Congratulations on your new rattie, YLL...she sure is a cutie. And I love her name.... that's what my Dad used to call me when I was very little.

    Thanks everybody!

Suzie is doing quite well, she had some strawberries, pears, and apples before. I diced them up for all the ratties, she ate a couple of strawberries, but that's it. She came out and sat on my shoulders for a while and ran around on the sofa. I was IMing a fellow PT member, and she decided to type a message herself consisting of a bunch of 6's and an x, lol. She is quite the love bug, and it EXTREMELY friendy for a pet store rattie.
