How to stop dogs when they fight...

I cannot stop laughing... I had to share this.

I was just out in the living room and picked up the water bowl to replenish it for the girls. It was still full but I wanted to give them fresh water. Well, Maddie started jumping all over Lexi so Lexi started getting pissed. I yelled for them to stop because I was holding the water bowl and couldn't get past them to get to the kitchen. Well, needless to say they started fighting. I didn't know what to do so I did the first thing that came to mind... do you see what's coming?

Yep, I dumped the water right over them. They stopped so quickly as if to say what the heck was that?! So, then I booted all 3 dogs, two of whom are now soaked, outside to cool off. Now I have water all over my living room floor. Thank goodness it's a tile floor:eeks:!

I haven't even mopped it up yet. I was laughing so hard that I had to come in here and write it down. Maybe I'm the only one who finds this funny...it's one of those "had to be there" things. Just picture two men fighting or something and then dousing them with cold water from a hose without them expecting it, but this was funnier.

I can picture you looking all around, then realizing you have water in your hands and dumping it on them.. Hehe, that is a pretty funny image.

LOL! How funny! My Dad always stopped dog fights with the water hose. The look on their faces when suddenly doused with cold water is classic. Sure makes them forget about why they were fighting! Quick thinking!

LOL!!! That's too funny! Sometimes moms can't take it anymore!!! From when I had two kids, they never fought! Good idea!
