    Pet Talk is moving on Saturday

       I am planning on moving Pet Talk to a new computer on Saturday afternoon. PetoftheDay.com has moved about six times since we started in 1997. PetoftheDay.com should be up and running continuously as usual. However, I will have to close Pet Talk for several hours. I am not sure how long it will take.

       At the same time we will remove the very old accounts of people who have never posted.

    Thanks for the notice. Now I won't get upset at the computer or the dial up service when I can't find PT.

    Hopefully everything will go smoothly and we'll all be back on Sunday.

    So you are using a dedicated server after all? I asked you a long time ago if you were but I don't think I ever got a response... Figured you'd have to have one though, I can only imagine how high your bandwith must be!

    I hope the new computer has lots of space for all the future gabbing we plan to do. Gosh, what will I do? I can hardly remember what I did before I found PT! Oh, yes... scrapbooking and chasing ancestors over the Net. Hurry back!

    Ah, good luck. Hopefully I won't have to keep clicking refresh then. Thanks for taking the time to move Pet Talk and improve the service!
    I love my beautiful and adorable cockatiel birdys (Dumbledore and Hermoine), my sweetie kitten (Hufflepuff), my sun conure (Hedwig) and my new bunny bun bun (Hagrid)!

    Bananas jump as they protest for being eaten worldwide!

    Birdys, kitties, and bunnies are the rulers of my house..............and they rule well!

    LOL, that is really good timing; saturday afternoon I am doing an afternoon voluntary work at our Oxfam-Worldshop. Please let is all be back to normal when I get home (6 pm!!) --< hint hint

    Good luck with the move Paul! It's a very good idea to remove the "old" nonposters too while you're at it!
