Spot's trip to the white coats

Well, our new pup, Spot made his first visit to out vet yeaterday, ad all went well. The medicine the shleter gave us for his worms was not the right type for tape worm, so we got the correct medication. Also, his vacinations had not been done correctly by his ofrmer vet, so he og this 3 yr rabies, his DHLPP booster and a heartworm test, which was negative. Yeah!!

Dr. Steve said he looks great, seems to be in good health, very friendly and he was schocked to find out this poor boy was going to be put down. I think he would have taken him home if I just said the word. Sorry, he's ours now!!!

Spot definitely has a SPOT in my heart. This has been one joyous series of events. I kind of even like the name Spot.

YEAH for Spot!! I'm so glad he is HW negative. That was the only thing that worried me. Did you call Jessica to let her know? And where was this vet when we were desperately trying to find him a home on that Saturday and we both nearly lost our minds!! lol

The girls seem to be adjusting well. They play well with him in the backyard, but are stillnot quite sure in the house. Spot really wanted Cincy to play last night and she wanted to protecther daddy. I think they'll figure it out soon though

Me too!!! I was relieved to get the results of that, although from I have been reading, if he did contrat it recently we might now know until next year because the "worms" have to be at least 5 mos old? Has anyone else heard this?

Did you call Jessica to let her know?
I have not had a chance to email Jessica yet, but I plan on doing that tonight, along with sending some pictures along. Did you happen to tell her about PT, so she can follow his "adjustments"?
