    Noah got more fishes!

Noah got some more fishes! He's decided to share them with his sister, Noel...but that's it.

Kelly, Noah and Noel are so cute. I sure hope that they never eat any of the fish.

Not leaving them alone with the cats is a good idea , because even if the cats dont eat the fish , they might scoop them onto the floor , and the fish will die. I know this from past experience that you dont ant to step on a dead goldfish!

No worries....the tank had a lid that is always closed...it was open here because the new fish (in the bags) were getting acclimated to the water temperature.

Aly, we added a Beta fish, a Swordtail, a gold Molly, a siamese algea eater and three really small fish. They are doing really good. Its cute, the large frog in there and the Beta seem to like each other. Funny huh?

Wow cool!!! I've never had frogs in any of my tanks. I never really see them in the fish sections. I would be interested in adding some to one of my tanks. Could you tell me a little about them? What kind are they and do they require any special care? Do they get along with all community fish? I wouldn't put them in my semi-aggressive tank, just one of my community tanks!

Of course! They are called African Dwarf Frogs. They eat special "Frog and Tadpole" pellets designed to sink to the bottom. But...they also like the blood worms we feed the others.

They do get along with all community fish. We got them at PetSmart.

The only special care would be a surface where they can get air and someplace to hide. We have two, the largest one is always out playing or floating at the top (yep...they do that!). Here's a close up of the friendly one:

Awwww cute!!! I'll have to look around closer next time I'm at Petsmart. Do they need a place to sit out of the water or is sticking their head out at the top fine?

Nope, from what I've read they are strictly water frogs. They don't get air that often either, when they do, its really fast.

At first, I didn't want them, I thought they would be scared and would hide all the time...but they dont! I'm so glad we did.
