    initials

I'm in the process of trying to locate an aggression and and/or behavior specialist--I know what DVM means, but what should I look for that will tell me someone is an agression or behavior specialist?

no, most of the ones I found were just DVM--I was looking on Yahoo yellow pages when I posted that, but I found other resources. I was just wondering if they had any type of initials or anything after their name, to weed them out from some of the other trainers.

I'm reading a book written by Patricia B McConnell and shes an applied animal behavioralist and she's just got the title of PH. D.

    Also, I found tis http://www.animalbehavior.org/
The Animal Behavior Society, you might try emailing them they might have a good reference for dog behviorist.
