for some reason when i want to save an image to my disk, i don't have the choice to save it as an .gif or .jpg file. only .bmp this has never happened before and it is really getting me madcan i change it or any idea on what happened? please help! thanks

IE 6, right?
Empty your Temp. Internet files - go to 'tools' then 'internet options' then 'delete files'. This won't hurt anything, it is just images and pages you have viewed already. That should fix that problem.

Ahhhhh so THATS how you do it..I had that problem too, and I had to open it in paint and take a screenshot of it to let me change it to jpg that way..to much work :[
