    Mine are pathetic:

It doesn't matter WHAT we have, they are constantly there, looking up at us like it's for them.

All your pics are to funny! But Pepper is the master
pest begger. She has a furousious apetite.
Pepper is practically in your plate and will
grabe the food right out of your mouth if she
has the chance. IN fact the little dummy
has even tried to grab the food out of Rocky's mouth.

    Hubby's fault!!!!

    These are great!! So cute!!

I love Dixie's expressive face. "But....I'm so hungry!"

Kito and Abbey look like all of mine crowded around waiting for a morsel to drop.

    Angus does a great "Me...Me...Me!"

But Little Kim really puts her whole self - paws and all - into it!

Smokey is the most ANNOYING beggar!!!

He'll bite food right out of your hand, steal things off your plate, and BARK and whine at you!

Reggie the best. I don't mind his begging. He'll just sit there and stare at you, nothing more. He knows the trick "beg/sit pretty" and he's great at that! He'll also do "high-five" while doing this trick! He doesn't do that when he sees food though, just when we ask him to...

Nebo's like Reggie, unless you are on the floor. If you are eating at the table, he pretty much knows he's not getting any...he might sniff, but other then that...he doesn't even care. Now if you're on the floor...he has no problems crawling right in your lap while you're eating....

Anna, how did you teach Angus to do that trick? I was working on teaching Nebo that tonight. I had to either have my friend hold onto his rear end, or make him sit against the couch, or he'll stand instead of sit up for the food. He was getting the idea though, and getting better at it...except he was grabbing my arm for support, lol. But I'd just clipped his nails so he scratched me a couple of times and it bled! Anyway, I've heard though...that dogs have to build up the muscles to be able to sit up like that, so I guess it will take him a while to be able to balance like that on his own.

He was sitting one day & I just waved my arm up with a treat in it & he sat up, he usd to be able to sit that way for a while, but he can't hold it up as long as he used to

    Cute pic everyone....

Amy- I taught Simba that trick by starting out with putting my hand in front of him so he could put his paws on [watch out, i got lots of scratches lol] once he gets his "balance" after a few times of doing it gradually take your arm away each time i always hold a treat or just my fingers above his head. Now Simba does it without the arms and me holding my hand above his head.

Yeah....I think that trick comes easier to some dogs.......Reggie just sat up on his own, it wasn't hard to teach him. My friend's german shorthair, Lady...actually *I* taught her that...I held it up and she just sat up, lol. When I first held the treat above Nebo's head he wouldn't even move, just stare up at it like "what??"
