I couldn't stand my precious girl being so dirty any longer. Even though it has been extremely cold I just had to give her a bath!! Not that she minded!!

Oh mom thanks! This feels so good!!

And after some nice blow drying and nail clipping and teeth brushing.... I am ready for a nap!


Sometimes I really wish that camera were broken!

She slept for hours under the blanket after I was finished taking pictures. Then she went out with Dusty and romped in the snow and came in all wet again! You couldn't even tell I had groomed her!

Dixie! You look so gorgeous after your bath! Ya gotta stop getting all dirty right after them though! Hey that bathtub full of water looks pretty comfy.....Nebo says he might like that, he always jumps in the shower with me! lol

I took Nebo to Petco on Monday and gave him a bath also.......he got The Works too hehe (medicated shampoo, hot oil, really good conditioning) He didn't mind it except he got a little impatient with me leaving the conditioner in! My gosh, I've never got so much FUR out of that dog! The whole place (and me) was covered in fur after blowing him out! But hey, he feels so much better now...his coat is a lot thinner and softer.........of course, he was digging yesterday, so, as usual, I had to go drag him into the bathtub and wash his paws/legs off again...ugh

You gave me an idea with the bath tub full of water Missy LOVES to take a bath ! She would just sit in the tub and enjoy the water ... And she's in heaven when I blow dry her hair , when I brush her teeth and clean her ears (except for nail clipping she hates it ) . And I enjoy hugging and kissing her after that nice bath .. Hmmmnnnn .. she just smells so good

Souraya.... I'll have to tell Dixie you think she is handsome! LOL Dusty didn't get a bath on this particular day!!! Sometimes though I have to really look hard to tell the difference between the two of them too! Dixie weighs 73 pounds now and Dusty weighs 78. Not much difference! She was only 63 pounds when she got pregnant! Nothing like kids to help you lose that girlish shape!

Dusty prefers baths and told me to tell you you're not getting his picture because you will show it to Missy! She is not allowed to see him in the tub until they get married! LOL

Wow, her fur is soooooooo beautiful and shiny (atleast it was before she got it all dirty again LOL)! Looks like she had a great time in that bathtub, I might try that with Tina soon and give her a nice massage at the same time for the old bones (I usually bathe in the shower which she hates).

Candy these pictures are priceless! How do you get her to lay down in the tub? My Bella is alway poised, ready for the minute when I say "OK you're done!" even though she does like the water. Dixie looks so beautiful after her 'beauty treatment.' A girl can't be too pampered, even if she is ready to go dig a nice hole in a moment's notice and spoil the job!
