Very few people on this board breed.

Are you looking for a brown lab? I'm sure there are rescue groups in the state. Plus I've seen many labs at the shelters.

First off if you are looking for a lab, you need to get the specifics right. There are no brown labs. Only yellow, black and CHOCOLATE!!!

Check the AKC website for breeders in your area. www.akc.org

I saw several Chocolate Labs in Michigan on www.petfinder.com

They even had some puppies, but all those have been adopted. I would just keep your eye on that site and visit shelters in your area. Its going to be harder to find a Chocolate Lab in a shelter or rescue than it is to find a black or yellow, but be patient and you WILL find one! I have seen some cuties in the shelters I work at.
