What every good sled dog knows.....

Every good sled dog knows that when you get a chance to rest, you take it!

Hobo taking a break. He was the first one down every time we stopped. I suspect someone trained him to lay down when the sled stops---handy trick, might help prevent loosing the team!

Antare laying in the tall grass. He was so happy to see his harness again, he almost lost his little mind.

    Founder relaxing.

    Raven takes a breather.

There is no way Franklin is going to lay down. He's the only dog who refused to today. Franklin would pull all day every day if he was allowed to.

Shot of today's training team just before we started the final part of the trail home. Today was the first time they've been in harness since April and the first time HObo has ever run in lead. Hook up was a complete gong show. On top of being overjoyed to see their harnesses, they haven't been run in almost 2 weeks while I've been away. But once we got going, things went pretty well.

LOL..I was just thinking about you earlier because I realized that I haven't seen your crew lately and I come here and there you are!

Yay! I'm so glad to see the gang. Looks like they are working hard AND having fun. What could be better.

I just love seeing your crew.

It's all a trick. They weren't doing much work at all. The ATV did most of it, but they acted like they were running the Iditarod!

I sure hope so! I've had enough of forest fires, bugs and allergies!! The dogs and I are all much happier in the winter!
