Thanks so much for posting that. I know that these dogs and their humans have worked so hard in awful circumstances. It does us good to be reminded.

I think this picture shows the horrendous realization and resulting despair caused by this monumental tragedy.

I admire the SAR teams so very much! The unselfish devotion in trying to save lives however futile it may be. I am in awe of them.

Those photos appeared in the magazine of "Best Friends" I just received and I was thinking of scanning them and showing them here. You save me the time of trying to do that. They are really remarkable pictures.

It's so interesting and neat to look at those pictures. I wonder if they still have the dogs down there?
