Hi Reggie! Happy Pet of the Day to you, sweetheart!

It's always a special occasion when a senior is our featured Pet of the Day, but to have the pleasure of honoring a beautiful, most precious, 19 year old Chin is beyond special! I have to believe it's all of that wonderful care and love heaped upon you by your humans the past near 20 years, your beautiful spirit and giving heart that are the secret to your incredible longevity!

He is now 19 and doing amazing. He is such a special little boy. He is such a softy - he loves being held and getting kissies. He was one of three little kits born here almost 20 years ago. All three were boys but sadly we lost one of them. Reggie was so cute he wouldn't leave the sick one. He would cuddle up next to him and keep him safe and warm as he was so weak.

Oh, reading how lovingly you cared for your dear, ailing brother brings tears to my eyes! And learning how you hide from your ever partying dad and brother, napping in your sleepy box away from the noise and chaos gave me a chuckle! Well, you've earned your sleepy time, and those yummy treats, haven't you, sweetheart?

How very lucky your family is, Reggie, having been blessed with a furkid as beautiful, as sweet and loving, as special as you; having known your love and devotion the past 19 wonderful years and counting! You may have slowed down just a tad, but I have a feeling you still have tons more living and loving to do! What a treasure you are, Reggie, one in a million, simply the BEST!!!

He still is a sweet boy who loves his food and to sleep. You couldn't meet a more friendly laid-back chinny. He takes it easy these days, which is fine by us. As long as his food bowl is full he's a happy boy. We're so greatful we still still have him

Meeting you today, reading your human's love filled tribute, learning of the very special bond you and your humans share and the joy you bring to their days has been the perfect start to my day! Dearest Reggie, you are absolutely adorable! What a gorgeous little Chinchilla you are, with such pretty coloring and such a sweet face with long whiskers and huge ears and lovely big dark eyes. And you're nineteen years old, still going strong! How nice that your brother and your dad are with you, too! We're so sorry you lost your other brother very young. He is a glorious Angel now, whole and healthy, sending down love from the Rainbow Bridge and the promise that you'll all be together again, One Fine Day.. You're a sleepy boy, very well behaved, a very good-natured little boy who never bites. As long as the food bowl is full, you're a happy boy! You and all your family members, Chin and human, love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
