Every day a beautiful hen is our featured honoree is reason to smile, and what a gorgeous Brahma girl you are, Scale! Your "tortoiseshell" coloring and markings are stunning! And Oh yes! Those floooofy legs are spectacular! And though you may be a tall/big girl (only 15 inches shorter than me, lol), you couldn't be any sweeter if you tired; truly a "gentle giant" among hens! That photo of you with your little bestie, beautiful Gournay chicken Opal, is heart-melting!!! As your Mom says, you may be the biggest girl in the hen house but no "pecking order" for you!

What a lucky human is yours, Scale, having a best feathered friend and family member as special as you! Not only beautiful, but packed with personality and heart, just as special as can be!

Thanks for the BIG smiles, sweetheart! Meeting you today has been such a treat! Dearest Écaille, also known as Scale, what a beautiful Brahma Chicken you are! You are absolutely stunning, with those gorgeous tortoiseshell-colored and patterned feathers, and those fluffy wings and legs are amazing. What a sweet face you have, with those red highlights and lovely big brown eyes. Thank you for sharing those great photos with us. How nice to see you with your good friend Opal the Gournay chicken! What a delightful personality you have! Your dear person says you're very friendly and nice for a hen. You run to greet anyone coming into the garden, in the hopes that that person has a tidbit for you. You're a very pretty big hen, the largest in the henhouse, but you're not the leader, nor do you use your size to bully the others. You and they and your persons all love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
