More bad news

We had to put one of our cats to sleep today. She was really really sick. It's so sad.

Oh Sara, I'm so sorry. There has been so much sadness here on Pet Talk lately. I have 2 kittys myself. I lost one, my precious little Lizzie right after Christmas. I know how hard it is. God Bless this little kitty soul. Be free and whole again sweet one in that place where the sun always shines, and every creature is whole and well. Rottie, I'm so sorry. But you would have made the decision with wisdom & love that your beloved cat should not suffer any more. Lucky puss that had you for an owner so that life, right up to the end, was full of care.
I know how your heart feels at the moment...been there myself. The great grief at the passing of a pet is the other side of the coin of a great love. Thinking of you.

Rottie...I am so, so sorry that your little one had to head for the Rainbow Bridge. I haven't gone through this yet with either of my cats, thank God, but I have had to say goodbye to 4 dogs over the years. People without pets can't understand the enormous hole this leaves in a heart. I hope you are feeling a little bit better today and that each day will be a little easier.
