What an adorable Hungarian Dwarf Hamster you are, Krümel; too precious for words! And not only beautiful, but so brave to boot; packed with personality and just as gentle and loving as can be! And quite the daring, high climbing athlete and adventurer you are as well, making that great escape up onto that bureau and those bookshelves! Thankfully your human spotted you at the bathroom door! And I'm sure in the end you were as relieved to be returned to the safety of your cage, safe and sound as your human was finding you!

Just as your human says, you knew the moment you set paw in the door that this human was the mom/dad destined to be yours. Settling in within minutes, no fear in your heart, you knew you were home to stay; forever and always to be loved and cherished! Oh, what a very special bond of love and trust was forged that happy day!

How lucky your human is, having a beautiful, sweet and loving furkid, a best friend for life in you, Krümel! You truly are one EXTRA special boy, a gem, and so very deserving of your big day of honor!

Thanks for the BIG smiles, cutie pie! Meeting your beautiful, sweet self, being treated to your heart-melting photos and learning of the very special bond of love and trust you and your human share has been such fun! Dearest Krümel, what an adorable Hungarian Dwarf Hamster you are, so pretty with your colorful soft-looking coat and little pink nose and long black whiskers and lovely big dark eyes. You have such a delightful personality, too. You warmed up to your dear new person the very day he/she first brought you home! You're very calm and trusting. You let people pet you, and you don't get scared. You're also quite a climber. One day you broke out of your cage atop a high bureau and climbed down four bookshelves. Then you sat in front of the bathroom door, where you waited for your person to pick you up and bring you back to your cage. What a clever fellow you are! You and your person love each other very much, don't you. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!

Congratulations, Krumel, on being POTD! You are absolutely precious! (We rodents!) We're so glad you have a happy home, full of love. We hope you never escape from your cage again ~ safety first ~ the human world is too big and dangerous for you and you may get injured or worse ~ no matter how outgoing you are, you are too tiny to live outside your cage. I've adopted homeless cavies/guinea pigs for decades ~ some are timid and some are outgoing just like human beings ~ no 2 pets share the same personality ~ I always earn their trust (no matter what horrible life they had before I adopted them) and they become trusting lovebugs.
