Dear, sweet Ashley...Like your Mom, all it took was just one look at those beautiful, white rimmed eyes, those precious paws and those darling, saucer shaped ears, and my heart was yours for the taking. How very loved you were, are, by your loving guardian. My heart melted when I read about her very cherished memory; the scent of your pine shavings. Like her, everytime I take in that sweet smell, my mind and my heart travel back many years, and I am reminded of my own dear, first hammie, FiFi and the special love we shared. Your Mom has written such a beautiful, touching tribute to her treasured furfriend. I'm so sorry she no longer has you there to greet her after a long day's work, to snuggle and smother with kisses. But I know that forever and ever you will live on in her heart and her memories. And one day, you and she will be together again. So until then, scamper about the Rainbow Bridge, playing gleefully with all other furry critters dear Ashely, awaiting that happy day. Bless you dear little Ashley. Your Mom was so very blessed to have known the love of such a loving, loyal companion and best friend.
