Dearest Auggie, you are gorgeous! What an absolute HUNK of a guy you are! That brown and black Tabby-pattern fur is so pretty and looks so very soft, and you have the sweetest face with your long white whiskers and your lovely big golden eyes. What a great profile-shot photo that is of you gazing upward! Thank you for posting it. You clearly are a fine photographer's model! I wish I could reach through the screen and over to Washington DC to pet you! I can't, of course, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrson will pet you for me .

And what a great story you have to tell! From a gopher hole in Carbondale, IL to a terrific Furrrever home with your dear Purrrfect Purrrson in Our Nation's Capital! (I hope you are running for office this year. I'll vote for you!) You have the most delightful Purrrsonality. You're very feisty and affectionate. You love having your face rubbed, and you position your Purrrson's hand in just the right place when he/she pets you. She thinks you may have some Siamese heritage, because you talk a lot in your distinctive voice. You're mischievous and will often disobey, then leap away merrily when your Purrrson yells at you. You two love each other dearly, don't you. As she says, "He has added to the quality of my life and is genuine in his catness in every way. Auggie is my heart." This is a picture of my tabby boy Auggie. Born in a gopher hole in Carbondale, Illinois, he now resides in the Washington DC metro area. What makes him special? Since a toddler/kitten Auggie actually strikes a pose when he sees a camera, as evident from this picture.

Auggie is a fiesty and affectionate cat. He loves to have his face rubbed, and as I pet him he uses his paw to position my hand on his face. He is mischievious and will often be disobedient, wait for me to yell and go leaping merrily away. I named him Auggie when I found him because when I looked at him, I could see a little boy with a baseball cap place backward on his head and a slingshot in his pocket. Although a tabby he has a lot of Asian - maybe Siamese - in him because he talks a lot. And has a distinctive voice. He has added to the quality of my life and is genuine in his catness in every way.

Auggie is my heart.
