    Sweaters Anyone?

Hi everyone. I went to a pet supply store with AmberLee today called Pet Club. It's a very big warehouse type of store and the prices are quite reasonable. Anyway I ended up buying a small dog sweater for Sunny because he's been getting very cold at night. Here are some pics of all 3 cats. I ended up trying the sweater on all of them.

    Don't I look handsome.

Get this thing off of me Mom.

    I'm very uncomfortable.

    I'm one handsome dude.

Does this sweater make me look fat?

    I'm very upset.

    Look at my pretty sweater.

I can't relax with this thing on.

This sweater is cramping my style.

Hee, hee, hee ... Poor Sunny doesn't look very happy in the sweater, does he? It will help keep him warm, if he ever lets himself get used to it.

    {Isn't he adorable in it, though?}

    *LOL*
Poor kitties! Storm looks like he doesn't mind it so much though. Maybe Sunny will get used to it so he can be a little warmer at night.

How did you get your furkids to leave that sweater on? They all have that typical annoyed cat-look about them. I am assuming that they were not too happy with something attachted to them, let alone an item that they cannot get off. Is that little sweater made for a cat or a dog? Or perhaps, either one!

How funny! When I bought a ferret sweater for my naked Cornish Rex kitten, it went straight back to the store--Nikita DID NOT like it one bit. He tried to JUMP out of it!

Heeheehee!!!!! I love the looks on their faces! It's as if they're thinking "Ok, humor her. She's only a human and sometimes they do silly things like this....."

LOL! I don't know what my cats would do...but, I don't think it would be pleasant. I keep my heat low (60), but, run a space heater (only when I am home) in the living room next to the trees for the herd to hang out on if they get cold...sweaters would be cheaper.

The looks on their faces are priceless!! Actually, MooShoo (my Sphynx) has 2 turtleneck sweaters. The first one I bought him was a small pink and purple one I recently bought him a more "manly" color in a larger size, since his girth has somewhat expanded I only put it on him when I take him out (usually only to the vet or next door to my sister-in-law's house). Getting him IN it is a real challenge because he also tries to back out of it. But once it's on, he's fine. He's gotten used to it. I keep my heat at 70 and have a down throw he burrows in when he gets cold. What a life!!

Ha ha ha! I thought the second two cats would have run away after seeing the first one doing his fashion parade - what tolerant boys!

Sunny was able to back out of the sweater a few times and Pepper and Storm just left it on. Pepper was a bit too big for it because he had trouble walking with it on. The sweater is made for a small dog. I had to hurry up and snap these shots before the sweater was thrown off. Storm seemed to like it the best but he thinks he's a dog.
