This our Shiloh, she is a Siberian Husky. She is a special dog because she once saved my life. I fell on a curb and landed in the road. She wedged herself underneath me and helped support my weight until I could regain stability. She's special all right.

She loves us both but she's a mama's girl all the way. She is protective against people she doesn't know well, but loves the grandchildren. She doesn't know a lot of tricks because I focus on other things. Things that instill good behavior, as huskies are smart but very stubborn!

That's our girl! Not much else to say, but we sure do love her!

I for one have always believed "tricks" to be waaay overrated, especially when one is as beautiful as you, as loyal and loving as you, is a HERO as you are! Who could ask for more in a furkid? I was not that long ago mom to beautiful Husky X, and while special in so many ways, she was (as your mom says), just a tad stubborn, or should I say..independent o mind! But as your mom has found, dealing with the occasional "refusal" was a small price to pay for her friendship, her devotion, her unconditional love! How lucky your family (especially your mom) is, having a furkid as loyal and loving, as devoted as you, Shiloh! You're a treasure, beautiful to the core, and one most deserving Dog of the Day honoree!
