    Bun Temper Tantrum

My bunnie Katie ahd a temper tantrum this morning. I could not believe my eyes. I usually give her some raisins first thing in the morning before I leave for work. I woke up late this morning. So as I was getting ready Katie was looking at me expectantly. I told her I didn't have enough time to get her raisins. So she looked at me waiting for her raisins, and I walked away to get ready. Well I am grabbing some clothes quickly and I hear this big raquet. I go to see what is going on and Katie is throwing stuff around her cage and banging the bars, she was trying to rip her food dish off and was throwing her wood chew all over the cage. She finally noticed me watching her and grunted and thumped and banged on her bars some more.

So I said okay okay, I'll get your rainsins, she immediately calmed down. I went and got her some raisins and fed them to her and than she was happy

Do I have one spoiled bun or what?

Do anyone elses rabbits take temper tantrums, and do you give into their demands?

OH Zoo...that is NOTHING!! I have 2 buns...Boy Boy and Girl Girl. Every morning they get a piece of fruit, apple, pear (favorite), craisins, banana, something....anyway one morning, like you I was running late and not only was I running late but I had not gone to the store so I didn't have any fruit to give them. Well, I was trying to get dressed and they "double teamed" me and was nudging my foot, nipped at my toes and then just sat there looking cute. Now keep in mind, my kids are BIG and healthy and not missing ANY MEALS! Well, when I got home, they had nothing to do with me. I tried to bribe them and they were not having it. They kept ignoring me until the next morning. Oh, did I mention they chewed up some papers I had in the process of being mad!

Yes, Bunny my big female lop is very moody and she sometimes is aggressive too. But I still love her as she is so funny. When I pick her out of the cage and pop her back in she usually stamps!!!

Floppsy will not exactly have a tantrum, yet she will stamp her foot on the bottom of the hutch if she gets impatient or angry. That is just telling me to make her happy or she will do something. But I do not know what she would do because I make her happy before she even has the chance. I guess our Buns just loove to be spoiled!

I guess from now on I will just have to make sure I do not forget I never realised bunnies could be so tempermental

Ah well, she is so cute when she has her raisins that I have no problems spoiling her.

My boyfriend tells me all the time how my kids have ME trained! He is right, but how can you resist thos beautiful big brown eyes when they sit on their hind legs, or when they nudge your foot for attention, or the ultimate is when I am on my computer, they get under my computer desk and lay there so I can rub them with my feet! They are so warm!
