We adopted Ebony! This is the little girl that I've been dreaming about for the past six weeks!
This Saturday they were redoing the out door cat runs, so many of the outdoor cats (more aggressive) were inside. And guess who else got to be in the cat room? Sweet, black Ebony!!! (We got to love, pet, kiss, brush and cuddle her. She got along fine with the other cats. She pretty much kept to herself and was such a good girl!We checked her file and found out that she had been brought to the Humane Society with another cat! That was enough for me! (We had been told she didn't like other cats)
Ebony is now Olivia Eve Cotte. She is 6 ½ years old…born on May 13, 1996…exactly five years older than Noah.Isn’t that neat?? When we brought her to the car, she got to ride in my lap for the forty minute trip. She was a little scared at first…and than really curious. We got home and prepared our walk-in closet for her. Her transition was amazing! I swear she KNOWS she is in her forever home. She is friendly and loving and is even curious who those other kitties are lurking outside her door. Each time we go in her room to see her, she runs to us, purring all the way.
