Tug - O - War

I know many people say tug-of-war isn't a great game to be playing with your dog. But my girl LOVES it, and we love to play it with her. What's your opinion on the game? Do you play tug with your dog?

i read that playing games like tug-o-war aren't good for your dog, because they encourage agression, but the breeder gave us a rope and mickey loves to play.

I do play tug-of-war with my dogs but, I didn't do it till they were about a year old. At that age they knew the 'out" command and were old enough to uderstand when to stop playing. Basically they could control themselves.

It all depends..... is she willing to let go of the rope? i play with my girl, but she lets go when i ask her to. if ur dog lets go... keep on playing! if they dont though they can become aggresive.
