Pictures at a website of a cat with fangs, Sammy!

I was looking around the internet and found a site with a cat with fangs!
He's so cute, lots of pixs. I think he's got some Meezer in him.

    Uabassoon-
As a matter of fact, I think he looks a bit like one of yours, in the flashing photos. (what are those called?)
Do you think he's a flame point meezer or a dilute orange tabby.

    And what is your cat?

My mezzer Tibby is a tabby mix so her points are kind of stipped they are kind of a blue grey color. My other cat is an orange tabby.

I hope his owner had seen a vet on his cats condition. male cats when not neutered sometimes produce huge jowells, and this can be very bad. He looks very uncomfortable with those teeh poking him! They need to be filed for heavens sake, at least to make the cat feel better. He looks as if inpain in most of the pictures where you see his teeth. Very sad.

    He is cute though.....

I've never heard about that Luckies.

Our Reebok has his fangs show like that and he's fixed.

Yes their fangs can show but if you look closely at the cat you can tell he jaw is malformed, it's not just his jowels that poke out. I have emailed the owner.

Oh yes and I meant neutered at an early age. That is why alley cats have huge teeth, and ferals are the same way. It can cause really bad problems. Most of my feral toms have to get their teeth filed about once a month because they can grow into the lip. The cat also seems to have an overbite and truthfully.... I think the guy just wants to make fun of his cat because he has "fangs" and thinks it is cool. The cat that has fangs, he probably thinks he will get so much attention that way.

He also calls his cat wicked and ugly! Any cat lover would never call their cat UGLY!

    Luckies-

I think you're right. I caught that too. I don't know how fond of his cat this guy is. Unlike all of us.
    Thanks for E-mailing him.
I hope he was saying wicked ugly sacastically, like I call mine a 'fat boy'.

What make the tom's teeth keep growing?

I didn't mean to cause a disturbance by putting this out there. I just stumbled on it.

Hi there. I'm Tony, and I belong to Sammy. I'm glad everyone likes his pictures. He is fixed, though he didn't get fixed until he was about a year-and-a-half old, because that's when we rescued him from the MSPCA. This area (Boston) has some really great vets, and Sammy doesn't have any serious medical problems. He has to get his teeth cleaned very frequently--about every six months, but it's not a serious problem.

But yeah, he does have snaggle teeth, and yeah, I make fun of him because he's ugly. I don't think I've negatively affected his self-esteem, as he seems to think quite highly of himself despite his odd coloration. He's also a very large cat, with crossed-eyes and legs as long as a goat. He's clumsy and awkward, and very affectionate. He's spoiled rotten, and is sleeping on my lap as I type this. I don't know much about cat breeds, but a friend told me that he's a cream point domestic short-hair.

BTW, I write this column for MSN, and Sammy is featured in this week's article:

    Welcome to pettalk, Northrup.

I'm glad to hear that Sammy is spoiled. I'm sorry if I misjudged you. Your site may be confusing to some people, especially for those of us who have cats as children.

See, knew he wasn't fixed til older. Just kidding, lol. For some reason male cats who are not fixed by the age of 6 months develope larde jowels, some of which keep growing. I am not sure what exactly it is, but it's some chemical in the body. I think it controls urine sprayin too but I am not sure, that's just a guess of mine. I have noticed that cats who are not fixed early spray more.

I just don't understand why you call him ugly though? What is so ugly about him. He may have an overbite but he's NOT ugly. I think there are only unique animals in this world, not ugly ones. But anyhow, welcome to the forum.

    Luckies-

I think my Mr. Jones may have been fixed late. He was a stray. He doesn't spray and his jowls are normal. I think their jowls go down after they get snipped. But I'm still confused about the teeth filing.

    Northrup-

I think Sammy is adorable. Everything about him is perfect, even his unique smile! (I've got one too! I mean me, not my kitties )
I'm glad he doesn't have big health concerns, I'm sensitive to that.

Please feel free to read and post with us.
