Hi all,

I usually lurk and don't talk that much, but I came across a web site that really upset me---it is called: lastchancearkansas.org -- a shelter that has pictures of their animals that they are putting to sleep within a few days if no one adopts them. Please check it out--there are beautiful animals up for adoption.

They euthanize after 5 days or after 2 days if it is an owner surrender case.

It's very heartbreaking---please, if you can cross-post this information for anyone to see--these animals are so gorgeous and just the thought of them not being in a good home is sickening to me.

There is a rescue organization in Arkansas (on the web too) called "Helping Hands for Little Paws" and they rescue animals from shelters and try to get them new homes. I am going to call them tomorrow to see if they can go to this shelter and rescue as many as they can.

Just wanted to post to see if anyone out there can help--I am in New Jersey and I don't know what else I can do.

Awareness is always a good thing, Snowy's Mom. This is a sad case, and there are so many of us who would love to do more, but just the fact that you posted here might help to save some. You never know!!! Thank you for alerting us.
