Smart Kitty...

Bixby is extremely affectionate. Sometimes too affectionate. It's cute when he wants to lick my face, but after awhile that sand paper tongue starts to hurt and it gets a little weird when he starts licking inside my nostrils and my ear. I used to just put my hand in front of my face while he lays on my chest and tries to lick me so he'll lick my hand, but this weekend, I started to gently blow in his face to get him to stop.

He doesn't like that. When he licks my face he also pats my face with his paw sometimes, but now instead of patting my face, if I blow in his face to stop him licking, he takes his paw and covers my mouth to stop me. Wish I had a pic to show. It's hysterical. I know he's telling me Mom, Stop that!

He licks too hard on my face, I blow gently in his face and he smacks his paw over my mouth to stop me. Pretty smart kitty!

Just gorgeous. Filou licks my husband's hair (it's VERY short) and he also says it hurts.
But the paw on your mouth! ROFL

It does hurt when they keep licking!! My aby does that too!!

When I blow on Pumpkins face she also puts her paw on my mouth- and I pray to god she hasn't just used the litter box-ewww!!
