Taiwanese photographer takes pictures of shelter dogs minutes before they are PTS

This is hard to digest; and first I thought it's a perverted, cruel thing to do...
But I understand the intention behind it, he's giving these poor dogs a face, giving them a little bit of their dignity back... And making people to look into their eyes is a silent accusation, it is as if these poor doomed souls are saying 'look what your species is doing to me..."

I don't know if I'm loathing that photographer's cold professionality, or if I'm admiring him for having the heart to do that. I know I wouldn't have it. Even looking at that these pictures brings tears to my eyes. I'm disgusted by mankind, and by the suffering they bring to the creatures of the Earth...

Karen, if you think this is too offensive, please move it to the Dog House...

I did move it to The Dog House, but hopefully this man will help end the plight of so many dogs. A couple of them look like they might be Tu Gou or mixes, and that's the Taiwanese native dog. Thank goodness Mimi Jiang was adopted, and maybe more people will do the same if this photographer succeeds in getting the word out.

It is absolutely NOT a job I could do. I know that about myself.

Interesting subject for photography. It's sad indeed but death is not the worst thing for an animal living a sub par life

R.I.P my dear Sweet Teddy. You will be missed forever. We love you.
