    Lydia

Awwww. Such a sweet story. I am sorry your life was so short, but it seems you hit the jackpot having been living with Niles and family for a few years.

I hope this story gives people the courage to adopt difficult cats as they sometimes become the best of friends.

Congrats on being the Cat of the Day, sweetheart.

    RIP

Dear Lydia, what a beautiful sweet girl you are. We're so sorry that your time on earth was not long. Now you are a glorious Angel, whole and healthy again at the Rainbow Bridge, where you are watching over your beloved family and waiting to welcome them Home.. One Fine Day.

To Lydia's Purrrrson, thank you so much and God bless you, for adopting this difficult kitty and making a home full of love with her and for her. Deepest sympathy to you and your husband and Niles for her passing. Remember that love is eternal and you and she are all together always.

    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

Lydia you were a dear little cat who left much too early. Fortunately your short life was spent with a great friend in Niles and a loving family to care for you. Rest sweetly little girl.

My condolences to Lydia's family for losing her so soon and thank you for sharing her memory with us as Cat of the Day.

Lydia, your life with your humans was way too short for them, but it showed you love for your years on this earth. Bless your parents for bringing you home and bless Niles for introducing himself. You were lonely and just needed another soul to bond with in that cage.

Play hard at the Bridge and look in on your humans. Congratulations on being named Cat of the Day!

A short life, but so full of love and fun! You had kitty siblings to love, and people that loved you - and a big bed to cuddle in and get petted and loved.

Happy COTD, Lydia. You are free and healthy again. Please give a purr in your family's ear so they know are all right.

    Beautiful angel Lydia~

Dear, beautiful Lydia. It breaks my heart to think you were taken so suddenly, and long before your time. But we are so grateful to your family for having chosen adult rescue, giving you, one very deserving kitty, so many happy years of unconditional love; love on your terms.

I know how your family's heart is breaking, how much they miss you. I swallowed hard when I read of the date of your passing, May 26th. That was my precious Ollie's "Gotcha Day," and my birthday as well; always such a happy day, especially for Ollie. Sadly, this year, not long after his "Gotcha Day," he fell inexplicably and suddenly ill, struggling for breath, though a mere 2 months ago he was given a clean bill of health; even his blood work results had come back "perfect." After 3 days receiving aggressive treatment in an ICU unit for fluid in his lungs, cause unknown, he passed, June 6th.

I'm sure Ollie is still finding his way around the Bridge, but for sure my big hearted boy was one of the first to make your acquaintance after he crossed, and knowing my Ollie, he's probably cuddled up next to you on that beloved "big bed" right now, sharing cherished memories of happy times, waiting patiently for that wonderful day when we all are together again.

Send down your love to your Mommy and Daddy, and beloved brother Niles, to comfort them, Lydia; they miss you so. And when you see him, tell Ollie that Mom loves him and misses him too...so very much.
To the parents of Lydia. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful (inside and out) girl with us, giving us the chance to honor her for the very special kitty that she was. How blessed she was to have had a family as devoted and loving as yours. Lydia's success story is testament to just how far love and patience can go in helping to heal the spirit. I only wish your time together could have been much, much longer. Lydia was truly a treasure.

This is an amzing coincedence as the Lady who adopted little Shadow from the back yard is called Lydia.
I bet that Lydia Angel who is in Cat Relocation convinced the Shadow to come to Lydia , and find himself a FurrEver Home where he would not have to fight for food.

You are such a Beautiful Angel Lydia, and what a shame that your stay on Earth could not have been longer.
We know that you are a big Favorite with Our Awesome Angels Army , and have so many many friends.
And that you have found a place where you may find a place in Paradise where you and your Family can be reunited in Love.
