Good morning Constantine! Congrats on nabbing the coveted title, Pet of the Day! But oh, you are SO much more than that, aren't you? I've met so many beautiful Conures here on Pet Talk, but you're my first Jenday! How beautiful you are, and not just in looks, but in spirit!

It was such a pleasure, reading your human's love filled, inspirational, and most entertaining tribute to her beloved feathered person! You two have only been together but a few short months, yet the impact you've had on her has beenlife changing, the bond you two have forged, everlasting! It never ceases to amaze me how transformative the animal/human relationship can be, and yours and your human's is one for the books! (You, and all of your feathered friends yet to come, are going to LOVE that aviary!) And kudos to you, Con, for you excellent choice of a human pet! hehe It's clear you and your Mom were meant to be...best friends for life! (The imagine of her cuddling you in your fleece blankie come bedtime is simply heart melting!)

So, how will you and she celebrate your big day, sweetheart? I'm thinking perhaps some fun time swinging in your Happy Hut, a car ride, snuggling with your kitty pals? Well, whatever is on the day's menu, for sure it's going to be one fun and love filled day, just one of a million more yet to come!

Hello Con, What a fantastic bird you are! Your mommy wrote quite an enthusastic article about you which I enjoyed reading. You really do sound as if you are smart and sweet... and you really are pretty. I saw all the photos and when I saw the two cats watching you on the ground, I wondered if that was a safe thing to do. I hope you and your human have many years together. Congrats on being POTD!

Hi there Constantine!! What a beautiful bird you are!! I know first hand, as I have an awesome Jenday myself! You are wonderful birds, and a pleasure to be around! My Jenday is much more timid than you, after the rough life he started out at Petsmart until I rescued him, but he's coming around! Friendliest bird I have, never biting! Please be careful around your cat friends though, that would make me very nervous! You never know what they're going to do, as they are natural hunters. Congrats on being today's Pet Of The Day! I hope you and your mom have many, many happy years together!!
